Timex has released the Q Timex Red Vega 1978 Reissue, the same model worn by John Travolta in Pulp Fiction (1994).
The Q Timex Red Vega first appeared in 1978. It featured a bold red marbleized dial.
John Travolta wore a vintage version as Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, solidifying it as a cult object.
The original watch from the film was auctioned by Julien's Auctions and sold for $6400.
Timex has reissued the watch with the same dial and paired it with a domed acrylic crystal featuring a multifaceted interior that refracts light across the dial, giving the watch more visual depth.
The 38mm brushed and polished stainless steel case keeps things compact and wearable, while a quartz movement with a day / date window at 3 o'clock handles the practical side.
Luminant hands and markers cover low-light readability. The glossy black natural leather strap with crocodile texture snaps on and off via quick-release spring bars, no tools needed.
