The watch worn by J.K. Simmons has a stainless steel case and bezel, black dial, white hands, subdials at the 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions and a Jardur logo at the 3 o'clock position. A date window can be found between the 4 and 5 o'clock position.
Case diameter is 43mm, height 16mm and the watch runs on an ETA 7750 movement.
The dial features a Degreemeter Scale and Countdown time bezel from 12 hours.
The Jardur watch in the film has a black leather strap with white stitching. The watch retails for $5,000.
J.K. Simmons is a supporter of the Jardur watch brand, as can be seen on the Jardur Instagram page, where there are pictures of him as early as 2015.
The prolific actor also wore Jardur watches in the 2018 Starz show Counterpart: a Degreemeter and a vintage 1940’s Jardur chronograph.
A vintage Jardur 960 Bezelmeter watch was worn by Robert DeNiro in the movie Ronin (1998).
Jardur Watch Company was founded in 1937 in New York City by pilot Samuel Klepper. The brand sold watches to pilots during the Second World War. The brand was revived in 2012 by CC Shermer with the Degreemeter as the primary watch model. The Degreemeter pays homage to Jardur Bezelmeter 960 watch of 1940's.
