Sergio García, nick-named “El Niño”, is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on both the United States PGA Tour and the European Tour. Since 2003, García is a brand ambassador for watch brand Omega. He became the youngest player to make the cut in a European Tour tournament and the first European Amateur Champion at the age of 19. Sergio Garcia values his relationship with Omega because of its fascinating history, its dynamic and progressive image and its strong involvement in the world of golf at all levels.
Before he became an Omega ambassador, Garcia had already a watch named after him in 2001: the Swatch Irony Chrono "Sergio Garcia" modelnumber YCN4000AG, which now is a collector's item.
He appears in a 2010 commercial for Omega, which celebrates the return of golf to the Olympic Games in 2016.
